He sort of scrapes in. He's totally out of his depth on telly, but then again, so are a lot of the comedians on the panel show circuit. I think a certain blandness is part of the job description. He seems to appeal to women more than men - maybe that's why us chaps don't 'get' him. I don't hate him though.
