Video Games

I don't play them very much any more. I used to play a lot of computer games, but I was always more of a fan of blocky graphics than smooth graphics, and a lot of modern games are just databases with a GUI. My favourite games are things like Boulder Dash, Jet Set Willy, Gauntlet, ZZT, Faery Tale Adventure, Civilization, Railroad Tycoon, Dune 2--old stuff. Like everyone, I played Doom for a bit, but I can't say it was ever a favourite.

The only games I've played more than casually since 1997 or so are Diablo II, Civilization III, and Morrowind. That's one of each of the major types, and I don't really need more. I haven't played HL2 much, although I will play Episode 3.

Every played Baldur's Gate? If you like a bit of RPG as well I can imagine you'd be into the game.
