Not my machine so won't be taking it to a mechanic.
I suspect because it's fine on thinner material I'm pushing it beyond it's means. I figured because people have done bags on here with domestic machines and with thicker cordura that it would be fine.
I'll try it on mine in a few weeks when I can find a pedal to fit (the Crown Point Sanwa from Smeear)!
