I'm doing the brazing myself, and I've got an engineer friend who I'll get to do the tig welding. I've done a fair bit of brazing and arc welding before, including a fillet brazed trials bike frame, among other things. Done some brazed lugs too, which I haven't had any problems with.
Hopefully my metal work should be upto scratch.
