Make that 3 for the induction tomorrow... Recovering from man-flu and working 'til 5am, so should be entertaining... I'll be on the black '10 Fuji

Dunno if it's illness or not, but fitness is way down! Nice
to meet you Wes, and that was a wicked session! Next week I hope I can breathe. Girls gave it hell today too -

Really enjoyed it today, shame I had to rush off at the end as I had to go to work! Legs felt good when I was out there but feeling it now!
Work means I can't make it next week but after that should be free.
By the way Weslito that's a very tidy Steve Goff you have! -

Wondered where you disappeared to! Sorry I failed to say hello, I'm a social twunt. Next time though. You'd better stay on till the end, you missed all the fun (pain)!
Thanks, i'm really pleased with it. Still can't decide what bloody colour to paint it though.
Really good ride though guys!

I had a great time at the novice riding session on Saturday. I ran out of steam with a lap to go when the pace picked up at the end, but managed to keep up until then. Might make it down again this week, if not I'll be back again in a few weeks.

I've been meaning to start riding regularly at Herne Hill for at least the last couple of years, but other stuff has kept coming up, determined to do better this year.
Two questions, am I right that the novice induction session is now at 12.00? If so will come tomorrow. I did an induction a couple of years ago, but do really need to start from scratch.
Second question is, is it too late to get a storage spot for my bike for the year, if not (hope not) who do I talk to about this and how much does it cost. It's just my track bike isn't drilled for a brake and I'm not happy to ride brakeless on the road, so if I can get the bike to the track once and just leave it there I'm much more likely to get there weekly there after :)

I don't think there's any storage.
With the amount of emails we get regarding storage you'd think there were more people who wanted to store their bikes than ride them! There are not many spaces to begin with

Thanks for this, I'll be there 11.45 tomorrow then. Fingers crossed that RPM's wrong about the storage, but I won't be surprised if he isn't. Thought that might be the case.

weathers not looking too good for tomorrow.

• #665
i may go to RP if the weather is bad.
-
• #666
I'll keep an eye on the weather and will be there if I can. Itching to get on the track as haven't ridden since August
-
• #667
Hmmm. might be up for RP, but will be geared, if the track is out. I just built my vivalo frame up and fecking hope it's good enough weather for the track.
Roll on stratford and roof. -

And waiting lists, and rules and rules and rules, and maximum 30 riders on the track, blah…
-
• #669
And 48 degrees!
Roll up to that on your armadillos and see how you get on.

• #670
calshot's something like that no?
-
• #671
A few degrees shallower, and about 100m shorter too.
-
• #672
And 20degrees colder
-
• #673

-
• #674
Definitely up for Richmond park today, herne hill isn't looking good.
Will be there around 1pm if anyone wants to come. -

It's very wet where I am, I'm hoping it's okay at Herne Hill but guessing is it too wet to ride. Does anyone know either way? Thanks.
I've got a crank tool that should take care of the cranks (I think). It works on my old campags like these:
I'll bring it along. No BB tool though.
