WoW its miserable out there today.

Got the true richmond park experience the other night - I got locked in and as I don't carry a lock so I had to climb out with my bike!

If this happens to you my advise is to use richmond gate - its the biggest but has good signage for footholds and is well lighted (no anticlimbing greece)

Don't bother with the emergency phones you just get put through the police who tell you too sod off.

climbing the gate was admittedly challenge but ultimately rewarding!

Which fricking cafe? - i tried three gates before deciding upon scaling it.

Is anybody going down this weekend? Just got my bike back from Bob Jackson after a respray, and I was thinking of giving it a spin around the park.

I was wondering the same thing. Finally got around to getting the SS set up for decent road miles and wondering if there are any group things I could come along to.

I'm coming next sat.. but then this thread shouldn't exist, because its spring - finally!

I will aim to relaunch this soon, given winter is nearly upon us and I desperately need some routine training over winter to keep me ticking over.

My intention is to keep this fixed gears only.

This was a great little routine for Saturday mornings last year... I've been looking forward to it for a while.

I am up for this but, due to work travel demands, not available until 30 October. On that date I will be in Smithfield for 8:00 am and in the Park for a 9:00 am start.

I think fixed only is fine (after all, RP does not require any gear shifting) but would encourage our geared cousins to come along and form their own group and meet for coffee afterwards.
