silver hub is unavailable, black hub
Velolibre, goldtec will do you a bare hub (or so i've heard) although I think you have to wait, I have black hubs on silver spokes+silver cxp33s. Love 'em to bits but wish I'd known you could get the hubs shiny shiny.
I don't know why they don't just do black or silver options, I've never seen any one riding pewter. -

Yeah found it now but it's steel and I'm after an aluminium rack.
I'm probably gonna make a front basket using a normal front triangle rack tig welded to a shallow aluminium basket, with balsawood slats on the bottom of the basket. Lightweight, practical and fits the style of the bike.
The steel is strong and light enough, TFG have more than one type of rack for your liking;
(Gamoh rack).

Getting pretty close to done, after delays with too little headset to brake caliper clearance and needing to find an older style cassette lockring. Columbus Max steel frame, and mid range pick and mix Campagnolo 10 speed groupset.
Can anyone help me with the STI bosses on the frame, they are extremely shallow in depth, is it just a crimped cable end I need to fit them, or some sort of barrel adjuster?

I'd be happy to send them to you gratis if it'll help. I bought them for the adjusters only. I think you can salvage the adjuster bit from old rear mechs though.

I'd by-pass them and fit some barrel adjusters lower down, where the old levers would have been. If the cable doesnt fit snuggly.

I guess that might be the way to go, I did like the idea of using the specific STI bosses as it would use less housing, and also look a bit cleaner. Thanks for the offer, I may drop you a line about them later.

Cool.
If you struggle to get hold of the plastic adjustble bits. SJS sell the whole unit.

You bastard! And I almost felt sorry for you and wanted to buy something (I would - that disc wheel, if I wasn't so broke at the moment), because I thought you are going to be repossessed or something :-)
Anyway, enjoy. And post some pictures.
