Too warm. Don't like.

The mercury is dropping fast. Enjoy the ride tonight folks. I'm with you in spirit, especially if badgers are sighted.

thanks everyone.

perfecto....21 riders, no one got lost, no punctures, no mechanicals, we actually rolled up at the top of pitch hill together as planned, time for a pint before getting on the early train...all in all a success. great as ever to ride with old and new faces. special mention to phil for taking jan ullrich gears to the widowmaker and duking it out...gutsy...exactly what tnrc is all about. tnrc 2010 has begun

hey guys just wondered what the highest "ratio that was run tonight?
are you planning any more rides around the surrey area any time soon?
-
• #211
we'll be back out there this season sometime for sure. as for gears...i was riding all sorts of ridiculous stuff that mountain bikers would be ashamed of
-
• #212
I was on 45x17. It was functional.

Seriously the best TNRC that I have ever done!
Two hours of basically no stop riding.
I really enjoyed the middle rolling section....fast and furious....
The four climbs an hell of a job instead... a lot of struggling but everything smooth and pink in the end. Perfect weather, nice company, great route and on top of all Bang On! organization. That's the kind of ride which makes me feel for the rest of the week like a tenner younger.

Thank you everyone for making that so much fun. The simple childlike glee of pedalling around with a bunch of friends.
Warm satisfied glow as I defrost at home.
Cheers

Great first TNRC for me, it looks like I waited for a good one. Thanks to those who did a superb job of organizing.
Gina, I owe you for my train ticket.

Great first TNRC for me too, first of many I hope. I'm feeling those hills in my legs this morning! Was great to get the Moser out on a decent length ride, lets hope this summer gives us more weather like last night, it was just perfect

Beautiful ride last night... I'm inspired by all of you who rode that fixed.
-
• #220
What a smashing evening. Look forward to many more of those, even if I can't see in the dark!
Everyone that rolled fixed gets a Sean Kelly award from me.

Who else was on fixed then?
I spotted me, claus, pajamas, and GinaG (but she's rubbish). What's that? About 20%? www.l20%fgss.com :/
-
• #222
Totally knackered today. Legs are not made of bone and muscle, simply two bags of lactc acid and nerves.
Truly inspiring evening, great cyclists, all on working bikes, all fit for the task, the joy of being with mates rolling along with brief periods of suffering.

Middleofnowhwere (Matt) as well - good effort to all of you.
Fantastic ride, as Marco said, non stop riding, it just flowed so well even with a reasonably sized group - it bodes well for the rest of the season.
Looking forward to more of these, and looking forward to leaving the gears at home and putting the fixed back into LFGSS (well at least for Roydon!).

Lovely way to spend a Tuesday evening.
I was fixed, 44/17, might have a rethink of that gear for next time. Legs of lead this morning, was even considering getting off and pushing to get up speed-bumps on the way to work.
GWS to the boy, Sam. Hope you're looking forward to having a sore throat and a rash in a few days' time ;)
