I am also pleased to give early warning of the first meeting of the Hackney
Bicycle Film Society on Monday 8th February we will be showing
A Sunday in Hell the 1978 film about the Paris-Roubaix cycle race showing will
be followed by bicycle games.
Cost: Free but we will be asking for a £3 donation to the workshop

Thanks to all those from Hackney who turned up for the inaugual showing of the Hackney Bicycle Film Society we had overwhelming response to the first showing which was A Sunday in Hell the next film will be Ladri di Biciclette (The Bicycle Thieves)and be on 8th March at the Calthorpe Arms. The next showing of the Hackney Bicycle Film Society is on Monday 8th March and will be 2 Seconds a French Canadian film featuring a Downhill Cyclist who becomes a Courier and has a wacky relationship with a Grouchy Bicycle Shop owner. The originally scheduled film Ladri di Biciclette (TheBicycle Thieves)will be shown later in the year. The venue is again the Calthorpe Arms, Grays Inn Road.
