Modular polo mallet head design

the longer the bolt, the more potential for it to bend and snap though, maybe?

that's brilliant! would it not be a bit of a bitch trying to line up the hole in the mallet shaft with the whole in the caps, when drilling? extra long drill bit?

nah well easy, drill the pole first.

I reckon you could even do one sided and only take the bolt to the side of the pole. Like the other single bolt fixings about.

....also means that you could probably drill the head a bit more.
