My current proj... 1909 path racer
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4026/4404145256_f63c692be2_o.jpgsorry the photo takes a bit of studying. too many other projects in the background!
Its the black thing in the stand. Original frame with down-sloped top tube, the bars are 1930s but with wood grips. Should be together in a couple of weeks. -

This was the path racer before my refurb, with mudguards and old Raleigh bits.

I quite like Concors, only ridden on one for 5 mins though.
Kashimax Aero = pure evil.I rode a Viscount Aero for 5 months, which is a copy of the Kashimax Aero, I couldn't believe how comfy it was... my bottom liked it.

BigBMX ≡ (26" rigid DJ bike + odd bars + long seat post)
surely?Hardly a new concept, these have been around for years and years from SE. Came out in the early 80's. But what the hell have they done to the colours!

Morning,
Finished the Mercier last week, the decals arrived on thursday, and I tried to take some "nice" pictures yesterday in the sun... I am very happy with it!

Voila...
Just to put it into context, the bike looked like this when I got it in France this Christmas (picture from the french website I bought is from) bike is most definitely a Mercier, old transfers were present under this poor paint job (even the headset and BB cups had been painted!):

And the idea was to make it (kind of) look as per Raymond Poulidor's track bike:

But you only rode it to the pub and back?
I used to have an older Kashimax Aero on my Tallbike, I was REALLY painful on rides longer than a few miles.

Yeowch Vello that's beautiful! Well done!
What size is it?59cm center to center... I need a 60.5 / 61 idealy, but this is perfect for my daily commute. Won't use it on the track.

Looks like someone beat me to it, but here's the new bike - birthday present from the wife.
3Rensho Katana, likely built by Makino - not sure of the year yet.
Parts were just swapped from the Stratton. Still experimenting with the saddle.
A panto'd stem is on the way but some of you will be dissapointed that it's also black.
Below is the vintage look I was going for.
