Its the black thing in the stand. Original frame with down-sloped top tube, the bars are 1930s but with wood grips. Should be together in a couple of weeks.

This was the path racer before my refurb, with mudguards and old Raleigh bits.

Yeah i think so. Don;t seem to be able to find them for sale. i will have to try offline and see whether any LBS's have got something knocking about.

You can find loads from the US (31.8mm), this one is 90mm and 25.4 bar clamp ; )

Hardly a new concept, these have been around for years and years from SE. Came out in the early 80's. But what the hell have they done to the colours!

Finished the Mercier last week, the decals arrived on thursday, and I tried to take some "nice" pictures yesterday in the sun... I am very happy with it!

Just to put it into context, the bike looked like this when I got it in France this Christmas (picture from the french website I bought is from) bike is most definitely a Mercier, old transfers were present under this poor paint job (even the headset and BB cups had been painted!):

I used to have an older Kashimax Aero on my Tallbike, I was REALLY painful on rides longer than a few miles.

59cm center to center... I need a 60.5 / 61 idealy, but this is perfect for my daily commute. Won't use it on the track.

Looks like someone beat me to it, but here's the new bike - birthday present from the wife.

3Rensho Katana, likely built by Makino - not sure of the year yet.

Parts were just swapped from the Stratton. Still experimenting with the saddle.

A panto'd stem is on the way but some of you will be dissapointed that it's also black.
