^those decathlon jobbies look OK for a basharound bike - but why oh why 1 1/8 quill stem ffs?!
People using Nokon cables, can you use them in combo with normal cable?
i.e. just use Nokon for the first 20cm from the brake lever, then cheap and cheerful for the rest.
