What time is it? Watches and horology

Oh yeah, if any of you get offered a brown faced Rolex that looks old, tell us.
and it seems too cheap to be right (or see it on eBay or something)
And then punch the guy in the bollocks and give it back.
It's my Grandad's, and my dad would like it back.

Hey Henry, without sounding like a pain in the arse, the more detail the better, what model was it? and if it has a brown face it's rare, as you said. I would have thought it was an explorer of some sort, some of the early ones of those had brown faces? and if you really want it back, then get your dad on the case with ebay too, the only problem with stolen watches is that they are so easily gotten rid of, people down the pub, yadayadayyada...

The early rolexes were the air king, the sea dweller and the milgauss, though you could custom any of them to your spec.
