Alternatively, buy/get these parts*:
Original front wheel
Original front forks
Silver quill stem, non adjustable, something like this:
Normal, STRAIGHT seat post, silver ali again, preferably.
Proper bars, like these:
And, of course, a brake lever to match.
Tighten the chain
