• I've worked a couple of yours at Gazelle's lightweight devision in the 1980's and I handled most of the repair and respray stuff, too.
    Every year we got requests to modify the frame, e.g. internal cable routing.
    Extra bosses like braze-on for FD, number plate, second bottle cage holder, ect. was very, very common and easy to do. Alsways granted against payment.
    Internal cable routing requests were always denied, because Gazelle didn't want to make e.g. an AA-Special out of a Trim Trophy.
    Internal cable routing was exclusively for top end like AA-Special and AA-Super (1st 753 frames, too, but these frames failed). These requests were always turned down.

    People who got their frame repaired or modified somewhere elso (private frame builder) never got their Gazelle frame resprayed.

    Maybe in very special cases it was resprayed, but the remark was filed, that warranty claims were impossible.
