i think the essence of the whinge up is that these companies make the market leading products and some people feel frustrated that there is not more choice
however they articulate their frustration by attacking the manufacturer for elevated costs (though compare rapha merino with other manufacturers, rapha socks with other manufacturers, or their bibs with other bib shorts using similar quality products) being unethical, exploiting their customers, exploiting the factory workers, etc etc
