For those with wider feet. I'd recommend trying a pair of Northwave on. I struggle to find any sports shoes that fit my pasty feet. But my Northwaves feel like a custom fit.

For those with ..........blah,blah......like a custom fit.
but do they come in pearl white?

Go to cycle surgery and get one of the monkeys to do a fit for you. There paid to do so even if you don't buy them and I am sure it will keep them occupied. and go with what you know..

does anybody else have problems with the insoles in their dominators moving about? I can't seem to get mine to stay still, apart from that, very happy with them. So much better than the mavics I used to have, more water proof and when you pull up the pressure's spread out better over the whole foot rather than just being able to feel where the straps are.

@ iro- dan, nothing, i have worn sidi's without insoles for well over 12 years

sounds a bit spendy.. I just forked out £100+ for shoes!

oh right..

Those of us graced with uber-foot arches need insoles. The concept of not riding with any is just alien. Get some cheaper ones then if you need them.
"a bit spendy" - I do like that.

they have new insoles available as an extra but to be honest they are just as crap as the other ones the thing is with the cycle there is not a huge point in having a padded insole.Iro Dan , check the size of the insole it will be stamped underneath make sure it's the same size as your shoe. they don't make half size insoles (as with basically any other company) so if you have a half size that could be the issue.

the dominator for the win, they've served me well over the past year

No they're 45's, so they should be right.. I think they do fit the shoes, they just seem to move around a lot (always end up riding up the heel at the back)
I've got really crappy flat feet so need all the help I can get, riding without them is a bit of a no-g0. Maybe I'll try and get some proper insoles, or alternatively go to evans and be ignored/lied to until I spend more money :)
Other than that, I'm really happy with them.

Well... not moving about, but the inside sole got kind of "lumpy" and fairly uncomfortable on longer rides - had to get some sorbothane insoles and cut a hole under the ball of my foot to lift it off the sole a bit.
I tried the 47 spesh and they were a bit roomier than my sidis (47).
x2Tap - the 46's were a bit too short, but cheers.
it seems evans have the basic spesh ones for 30 bucks (only in 47 - which is a change)
i think i will try them
