Right. Are you sure you removed the offending item (the Conti haha) after a puncture?
I've had a case where a very fine piece of wire has gone through and stuck in the tyre, invisible and barely felt when running a finger inside the tyre. Took out a couple of tubes that did. That's why I always line up the tyre label with valve so you can match up the tube's hole with the area on the tyre in cases where you can't find the offending hole/glass/wire/rock/etc
