Really nice collor sceme that frame has, not a real fan of white components on MTB's to be honest. I'm shopping for a costum rigid singlespeed 29er for a while now and Spot crossed my mind a couple of times. I'm currently riding this: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3113/3188336789_be7176e5f2_b.jpg and am thinking about a simular geometry. Really looking forward on riding a steel rigid.
What were you riding previously? Do you got any experience with the X2 Race Hope's already, saw a sweet deal on the normal hope tech X2, still am in a bit of a doubt. Anyways, hope you'll have some good fun very soon!
Cheers.
All the Hope stuff is new to me. It seems really well made, and was straight forward to install. A far as you can test something riding around the house, I'm glad I went with it. I'll do a mini review of the bike when I get to take it out.
The frame is stunning with a nice metal flake that the pic doesnt show. It matches the nice Hope gun metal componentry nicely. The low-rent looking white parts were purchased with my tongue pushed firmly in my cheek, I'll own up to that much. The nasty decals on the carbon parts might end up being marker penned, if I cant find a better way of getting rid of them. Its not a pretty bik thats for sure.
Cheers.
