Whilst i agree that a lot of lo-pros are overly HHSBiked, and equally a lot of people are riding around on bikes that are not remotely the right sizes for them, if you have one that fits, and is kitted out to do the job at hand, then they are no problem as a daily ride.

People seem to think a 700c bike with a sloping top tube is a lo-pro. That's not what we mean is it. The knobs I've seen juddering along on 80's time trial bikes with 650 fronts and risers look like nuns on a tightrope being shot at by drunken cowboys. Don't come it that it's "nippy" or "responsive" for "street" or "around town"
