Current Projects chat and miscellany

Need a little help here, i have a bit of a problem. I have just fitted my bb (111mm) but when i put the chainset on (i haven't even tightened it) the spider runs so close to the chain-stay it might aswell be touching. I was thinking i could space the BB along with the sprocket accordingly to correct it, what do you guys think?
