I think that some people down this way are still trying to come to terms with the concept of immigration.
I remember growing up in Devon in what was then the largest village in Europe and being able to count ethnic diversity on one hand. I remember getting off the train in Birmingham and wondering why there were so many black people about, a convention maybe? But that was 20 years ago and I'm fairly certain times have moved on. Curries aren't witchcraft and Essynine isn't a country near Ghana.
