2005- Reading velodrome- This is just after the oh shit moment- which I seem to remember as bikes in the air, bodies on the floor- thinking "what's wrong with this picture? splat!

I'm in the front of the carnage on my face- those double straps worked really well- no pulling out of them!

Did you see the crash in the recent Worlds.. Japanese guy leaned on Bauge(sp?) and took him out and then the Russian bloke flew over him and did a wall ride along the fence, taking the banner down. It was quite impresssive.

See if he'd just spent some time on the hipster spice route he would have known riding on the tops would have helped him bring the front up and ride out of that wallride. Better yet, his TM should have given him a set of risers. Fucking amateurs.

Yes, sadly no video. That would be interesting to see, although I suspect that the 'wallride' looks a lot better in the stills pictures than in the brief second that it probably took in the video.
