Not so much a near miss, but full contact. I am nursing two fractured ribs, and a frickin' sore neck.
Got smashed into by an Audi this morning on the way to work. Got swept off my bike and went through the windscreen. The driver then slammed on his brakes, dumping me in the middle of Wednesbury roundabout.
The thing is, the driver couldn't see me coming round the roundabout because of the glare coming off the road. Its blinding. I was unaware of it, but if it had been the Biffa refuse truck behind him - i wouldn't be typing this now.
Be safe - even when the sun's out!!
