Quite a large choice of disc 29er rims which are still light (as intended for XC). Afew mentioned above.

They do look bulkier than road rims though but good if you plan to run a wider tyre or fancy something a bit burlier.

Not really wanting to run a wider tyre, the widest I'll be running is a 28mm
