Although in principal the set up from lo-pro to drops on a normal bike matches so nicely. It rarely works out that way in practise, with your lo-pro being taller and shorter than your road bike/track bike frame. Maybe that doesn't make sense, but none of the lo-pros I have owned have ever been as uncomforatble as riding in track drops all the time.
Although I assume this is less of an issue on a properly fitted lo-pro for a track rider of the day when they were allowed.
