fully agree, also put 27 inch wheels and five gears back on it. you should be able to sell some of the bits, not for loads but for something.

just stripped it down but cant get seat post out, it has a little hole in back of down tube where there is a brazed on lug of some kind ( brake?) and that goes right through so i have sprayed some wd40 in there and will try each day and see if it frees up
