The main reason though is to allow some suspension through the use of thinner diameter curved tubes without the weight and complexity of suspension forks.
Jones forks weigh almost the same as Pace carbon rigid forks but are stiffer and offer more comfort at the same time.
As with all jones products they're designed first and foremost to offer the best ride regardless of whether they follow traditional rules or look like regular bikes.

Similar to Michael Hübner's WC Sprint bike, but slightly different.
Same gusset near BB shell, but a bit different seat lug and remaining gussets.
Looks like same builder, but different frame.
