My daily commute is quite a distance and I do it in all weather so I quite like the idea of a disc brake Pomp. I have a (baby blue) V model now which is the best all rounder I have ever owned (it replaced my Tricross). Discs don't wear the rims, fade in the wet, or leave your bike covered in grey crap. I accept they are a little heavier then V's but the weight is at the hub where it has less noticeable effect.
I might be tempted.
