All I wanted to find at tesco yesterday was some anchovies.... were they near the pasta sauce? No. How about next to the olives/antipasto jars. Nope. Right, I'll try the tinned fish isle. Any anchovies in a jar there.... negative. World foods - not there either. Where the bloody hell do they put the anchovies? I walked around for bloody ages. Then lined up for half an hour. I thought the gods were smiling on me as just next to the conveyor belt thing I find a jar of anchovies - eureka I scream in my head... only to have the check out chick try to scan it and it wouldn't scan. I couldn't be arsed waiting so I went home frustrated and salty fish-less :( A sad day indeed.

They're next to the tuna in Aisle 2 (or maybe 3), top shelf towards the back of the shop (on the left hand side)... Small tins tho', always tough to spot*...

I go in with a three-item shopping list. Some time later I come to and find myself in an enormous aisle of feminine hygeine products or luxury fruit juices or whatever and realise that I have no idea how long I've been standig there and that my basket is full of baby food and condiments that I don't even like and some kind of dried Japanese mushrooms and that my friends have probably notified the police that I'm missing.

Fucking hate that.

The security guard at APTN who turned away our courier from creative about 2 hours ago saying there was no tape and has repeatedly turned him away every quarter of an hour since despite any number of phonecalls with their MCR, when the courier has checked if it is ready.

It now transpires that it was sitting on the guards desk the whole time meaning it's now 10:42. The show isn't fully edited. We still don't have the tape yet. We have 48 minutes to receive the tape. Edit a half hour programme and courier it out to meet the reverse satellite feed. This basically won't happen.

Fucking. Incompetent. Twat.

Oh well. Who watches the news anyway?
