there have been numerous cases of people here who are regular cyclists who have failed to lock their bikes properly ( "oh teddy" and eyebrows to name a couple).
as such it is always of interest to know how a bike was locked and what lock was used
your reticence to reveal this information that could be helpful to the rest of us, especially when you are asking for help from us, seems a little bizarre
I think ga2g will be adding the fondue lock to the list of locks that dont work
