  • can you still be saved in an emergency though fred? it's mad they charge that much. it doesnt affect your warranty does it?

    it's £271 once they've packaged it in eagle down and posted it to geneva or something. the batteries cost £5. The rest of the ££ is for changing a seal and "servicing" it. At the price of Swiss/European labour this amounts to about 30 minutes work. I did most of it myself. And it's out of warranty - if it breaks down I'll have to pay to have it repaired.

    aye. I had to sign a contract when I got it saying that I'd pay the $10,000 fine if i set it off accidentally / when i was pissed / if it got stolen.

    but with a dark blue face - for mountain climbing and piloting my private jet :p
