  • Red and pink is a classic combo... £75 SG75s?!? Jammy cnut... ;]

  • Winter bike completely finished now.

Brooks bar tape from Joe, this tape wound me up a bit (no pun intended), but its ace. Really easy to re-wrap and feels really nice.

Saddle from Bobob and stamped by Skully Chops (tm).

    Before the makeover:

  • Nice Zed.
Its almost a shame winter has come to an end.

  • Is that a Raleigh Zenith frame?
Was my first proper bike, bit flexy if I remember.

  • Don't want to be "That Cunt" with the carbon track bike

There'll be more of these on the track this year than anything else, even Dolans! and you won't be the slowest of those. £399 on ebay at the moment, you'd have to be a cunt *not *to buy one

  • Ved - what bars be they on the winter bike?

I was going to fit those tache bars I got off you but, had a right faff getting these on so they're staying.

Yep it is indeed Sir and yes its super flexy, but very comfortable.

    Nitto Noodle bars dude. Recommended.

  • Planning on getting a 110 stem this week along with the new wheelset.

    I've got a couple of 11cm Cinelli 1As if you're looking

  • im getting the pearson roadworthy again,

stripped most of the tatty paint off, gonna leave it ratty and raw for a while, gonna build it up with one of these on the back

after a tub 700 shamal for the front then the rest will be campag and cinelli of course

  • Bought it, built it and now a bit scared of it.

Don't want to be "That Cunt" with the carbon track bike = moar training....

    (steerer tube awaiting final chop)

    Is that a 54cm frame?

  • Bought it, built it and now a bit scared of it.

It will be commuting between a container in the car park and the track at Herne Hill so my £80 pink SG75 cranks won't be offending you very often :p

not a commuter? pffft that would fly down the embankment ;)

looks great*, hopefully i'll get a chance to race against you at HH

*not sure baout the colour choices either, but £80 for s75's is always a good price.

  • Hopefully it will look something like this when done

Now where have I seen that before?

    :-)

Nice. You want track or road Shamal Tub? tufo FTW!
Is this gonna be your day bike?

I discovered today, when out testing the super awsomeness of the Olmo that Carbon is better than anything else ever made. Its Fast, Hard and soft. I've reached the conclusion that every problem in the world can be solved by carbon.

    'looking' good :-)

Round 3 should be here this week. 3rd time lucky I hope.

Perhaps 20 quids worth of strip and polish at the metal finishers? And I'll donate some black grips.

I have a stack of spare spacers if you need to use before you cut.

And the track 700 shamal that was sat next to that disc was no good, why? :-)

  • Nice. You want track or road Shamal Tub? tufo FTW!
Is this gonna be your day bike?

no, sunny and dry only, I have big betty for daily/rainy days.

is there a difference in track and road shamal besides a braking surface? honestly no brake will be touching it, so either.

  • Now where have I seen that before?

    :-)

    Ouch!
Well, mine will have different rims, cranks, saddle and other purpule.
Still hell of a look a like...

huh? did you have one for sale too? well at that point i was so broke* anyway, and im getting the Pearson started earlier than expected.

*I really need to get a different addiction, bikes are too expensive

  • Maybe.
I'll see whats what next week.
