  • Ok, cool. Steel or aluminium shaft? Its your call... Also black or grey head? Black will have a smaller profile but be thicker and with the holes...

  • erm ill go for aluminium shaft with a black head if u could please.

  • Ok, with cut outs... Will see what I can do for you... Long or short grips? Will probably want about $15 for one like that...

  • long grips if u could please

  • Dunno... Jenny Lind?

  • Can we say 8?

  • Cool. Just gonna build your mallet. Will be 45" long. Have a 50mm grey head. And a long grip on a chrome steel handle. Will tell you all about the black head and ali handle when we hook up in a bit...

    C ya in a bit... M

  • Inless you really want an ali handle... But they are the handle I got off ebay for 20 quids!

  • wheres jenny lind? n cheers jow much?

  • Hahaha, Jenny Lind temporarily no more. Got there and there were bull dozers and all sorts. All security fenced off. Went to a tiny court near to my gaff. Had both of our first ever personal experience of polo, in the flesh! Was a right laugh. An absolute pleassure Sam. See you when you get back from LDN.

  • was good! cheers for helping out on the bike n tht. look forward to some more proper polo when im back!

  • Norwich's polo virginity is gone.

I was off thrashing my new MTB around the UEA lake.

8.7 muddy miles (yep, it's got a computer...)

  • Haahahahahah. I have de-cherried norwich! Oh yeah! Do you want a mallet Sparky my boy?

  • Got one woth your name on it.... Can customize it too...

  • I would say yes, but making a mallet has been on my to-do list for a while. Fancy trying some DIY. Yours look pretty good though.

  • I fancy a go at polo. I can guarantee I will be useless.
Any excuse to build another bike.

How about running an Onza 24t trials crank on the left hand side of the bike and a regular crank on the driveside and having a chain with a quick release link for each side?

  • I fancy getting involved too. Be good if Jenny Lind has somewhere to play once it is finished, it is opposite my house. Need to get some bits together for a bike first though.

    Also, hello everyone.

Would need a bolt-on cog - like those XT conversions you can get.

  • I got some old Truvatuv cranks and a 32t bashguard. Oh yeah and somw DMR V8s for if them fuckin Jol Strap ever come from the other side of the planet...
Just gotta source a f+f then I got a complete polo bike.

  • I've got an old enfield frame for polo if anyone wants?

  • Pm me with the info... I'm pretty much up to speed woth enough kit... Just need frame an fooks!

  • Great night last night. Just Dom and I in the end. We spent just ove 1.5 hours making his mallet. Nice shaped cut outs on the head. Aluminium shaft. 38" long handle with innertube grip. Looks good.

  • Oh yeah and played at anglia square for about an hour before we got kicked out by security... Reet lAugh.
