In your post further up and the following post from ile, he recommend a 107 JIS as a replacement to the original 103 **ISO **to get the right chainline
So i'm under the impression that if Fuji had used a JIS BB in the first place with the original dished chainring it would have been 110mm, hence changing the chainring to a non dished one would push the chainline 3mm away from the frame. Therefore requiring the BB width to reduce by 3mm to bring the chainring the required distance closer to the frame for the right chain line.
Sorry if that sounds like nonsense. The whole ISO/JIS is is confusing the hell out of me. I'm guessing from your posts further up you eventually replaced just the chainring and BB as opposed to the whole lot. What BB did you use?
