I've had a 10 minute spin on the Di2 equipped top-end Scott Addict.
I liked the noises it makes. Didn't get to change gear on a big climb or drop down mid-sprint so it felt much the same as any other good groupset. If I had the money I'd still not buy it.
Do you guys actually worry about this stuff ... the noise it makes ... the only noises I worry about are the ones that mean that a component is about to die.
I only worry about whether it works ... don't really care about fuck all else ... then again I ride stock Specialized Allez .. so what do I know.
Basically I only give a monkeys what kit I got when I feel that is it hampering me.

I prefer the smell of my Record shifters over my old 105 set.

I've run Shimano 105 calipers with old Campag Athena levers. They worked ok.
Pah! I'm running Deore v-brake levers with old Athena calipers....that's how we roll in this hemisphere son.

Their chains are fucking sqaure. SQUARE for goodness sakes!

I like the Shimano lime green grease... way better than the inferior crystal grease as its more like snot.

lol.But the white translusent campag stuff, that comes with their threaded headsets looks like cum.
When it comes to bodily fluids...Cum > Snot => Campag > Shimano
(wish I'd thought of this earlier, could have saved a alot of disscussion)

Have a read of the Campagnolo brochure and it will tell you everything. (ie nothing at all)
The shifting is going to be the main difference. You do find that some Campag stuff is noticably heavier than Shimano.
Preference really: The Campag/Shimano arguement is stupid. I have both and find Shimano is easier to use and lasts better. IMO of course ;) -

The smell of a freshly opened Dura-ace chain is something else.....

Campag are refusing to exchange my cracked piece of shit record cranks and saying that it's my fault due to over tightening. How they can prove this I don't know, as I didn't
I won't be buying any more stuff from them again. Ever! -

Typical Campag.
Quick to take your money, not so quick to stand by their products.

I do prefer the looks of campagnolo, but shimano is probably better for actually using.
That said, some shimano parts have such bad Power Ranger Syndrome that I just can't bring myself to use them.
(Power Ranger Syndrome is where something looks like it was designed for use by a Power Ranger, characterised by aggressive styling, having a name made up of random letters and numbers, and being covered in stickers. Road bikes, motorbikes, razors and other man accessories often suffer from this problem)

The new Campag levers are ugly, the older style was far better looking. Shimano had ugly levers and now have pretty levers
FWIW I agree.
Kind regards

The new Campag levers are a significant improvement on the old ones.
Kind regards,
A long standing Campag User.
I wish C-Record had been priced to compete with 600AX back when I was buying new C-Record.
