For all those that have ordered or are going to order a Scissor frame, according to the CSG website (suppliers of charge) both sizes of Scissor frame are out of stock which will be no surprise.
Stock of the medium frame is expected on the 18th of Feb but there's no expected delivery date for the smaller one. I presume this means it's going to be a while.
I called them about the Scissor forks a while ago though and was given a delivery date at the start of Jan and as i understand people are still waiting so i'd be prepared for the date for the frames to change.
I'v sold my Fuji now so will be calling them on Monday to put my order in anyway, just hope it's not too long as i'm without a fixed bike just now. -

Charge are owned by one of the American bicycles companys I think. Giant springs to mind. If its so it makes sense. Plus the US is also closer to the factory. If you ship from Taiwan to the states and to the UK by sea guess who gets the frames alot sooner?

I think your right about the American ownership but i think it's more likely to be the group that owns GT, Mongoose, Electra etc as CSG also deal with all them.
Think Merida might be the parent company? -

Think Merida might be the parent company?Your right - the reason you cant get eh GT Gutterball here is that they are under the same umbrella as charge and they thought it was stupid to bring in 2 such similar bikes
-
• #143
which is a shame. 'cos the gutterball is hawt.
