my completely solid track bike was designed for just that, when doing the geometry we gave it less of a traditional (ultra aggressive) geometry so it would be more comfortable on the roads all day. its a bike i built to ride everyday rain or shine on track or tarmac, and it has done everything its been put through beautifully.
