bollocks, looks like the trains from hackney central to richmond aren't running. I'm not up for riding from east to kingston at 2am in this weather, nor am i up for htfu

looking forward to the ride ... my tactic is to wear two of everything (hats, scarfs, gloves, socks, base layers etc) ...

I'll be leaving South Woodford at 7. Going by train. Can't get to the start on my mountain bike. Just taken me an hour to cycle 13 miles from Epping. Going to Mile End and changing for the district line. PM me if you want to meet along the way.

Yeah I will be heading from Stokey around 8:30 if you want to come along. I'm going to make my decision arnd 8 based on whether the snow that fell earlier and has now melted is starting to freeze at that stage. PM me your number and I'll give you a shout either way.

I think we all know it will be cold, slippery and snowy. Everyone just go or don't. How often do you get to have fun on London's streets at night for free with a group of strangers and not be dogging?

if you know where i live pop in for a pre ride coffee/temporary defrost

also if there are any mechanicals at the start get someone to PM me and come over (i live 100 metres from the start), most basic tools here (ie spanners, allen keys, chain whip etc, but cant remove or fit headsets for example)
