I think if people are nervous about riding, they shouldn't ride, but that said, if we never trust each other - enthusiastic and regular cyclists - to ride together without issue, then it's a wonder we ever commute or ride anywhere where we might encounter strange and unknown nodders, ready to slide under our front wheels at any moment...
