OK I want to try to tidy up my Geoff Butler.
I need the old decals removed and replaced (not under the laquer and 'flakier than a leper's finger' ( (c) pj(pj) aka The Lake Of Darkness). I have / can get all the decals I need. I want two dents rolled out (Ross reckoned these dents could be fixed OK). I need to touch up any chips. I want to preserve the current paint as its really hard wearing and not shit like modern enamel.
Does anyone know if keeoing the old paint is possible (yet removing existing decals), and whether Mario, Dave Crowe, or any other 'restorer' is best for this work, bearing in mind the repairs needed and the desire to keep the the exisiting paint if possible?
