No, he's around. He's just got back from a holiday. He gets the frames bead blasted off-site and that's where he was going when I spoke to him earlier in the week. He has a mobile but if the site's down I couldn't tell you what it is...
I third what CamdenStranger and Wheelnut say about him: really nice chap. His workshop is a proper grotto: a rickety room above a garage tagged onto a suburban semi, choc full of tools and frames. The whole experience is a lot nicer than going to an industrial unit in the middle of nowhere. Fingers crossed the job's equally as nice!
