Once piece of advice on not leaning, don't live in or travel through Swindon. We have a large number of roundabouts and leaning is inevitable.
Generally finding that leaning the bike counter to the turn and leaning myself into the turn balances things out nicely to drift around corners at a reasonable speed. A little dicey but often fun.

Haven't you read anything? There was an upgraded leaning and centre of gravity theory on page 12 I think.

mate, you haven't got sufficient knowledge about grit salt on the road as you are british :{)
i'm from a cold country where gritted roads are everyday's (late autumn, winter and early spring) cruel reality... i'm not suggesting that you should jetwash it with boiling water - pour gently so the salt disolves before it reaches crucial ares:) repeat it twice or three timesand don't try and tell me you have an A from chemistry :{)
PS: anyway, how are you doing mate? going to w drinks tonight?:{)
haha, I am not British but nevermind.
I'm all good my friend, and I hope to see you this evening!

And I just saw an old man fall over and hit his head. He is alright though. None of the pavements have been gritted and people are walking down the middle where it's sheet ice, instead of the sides where there's still some snow and you can get traction.
He wasn't wearing a helmet and he's ok..hmmm

Face protection from snowstorm (Canada 1939);
Well I done seen most everythin'...
I don't have a working bike atm (!?!) so been getting the tube in all week... Walking back to TS Towers tonight I slipped on some treacherous ice, both legs went up in the air and I still managed to land on both feet without hitting the deck... I did lose my roll-up in mid-flight tho'... What a criminal waste...

Not really, you probably don't know this (frankly I doubt anyone in London does), but it's best to stay upright without leaning, not even in the slightest.

She might have been reading this thread on her phone, which luckily informed her to keep upright before it was too late...

we've had a few days worth now ontop of last weeks sheet ice here in Manc - conditions not so good for leaning.
My commute takes me along a stretch of one of the busiest bus routes in europe sand bus drivers aren't playing nice so i'm off the bike for a at least another 3-4 days I reckon :(
Fixed mountain bike in the park after work though FTW!
