About to start building my first proper(ish) road bike and just wondering about buying a groupset...

...trying to keep costs down to start. I saw a few new cheaper groupsets like this Veloce one for £330 . Would I be better off with a new lower end or should I keep searching for a higher groupset second hand?

If the Campag functionality suits you, then the veloce groupset is a good chioce value wise. It has all the main campag features including skeleton brakes, external BB. The picture shows older than 2009 levers though. The 2009 veloce groupset should come with the new campag lever shape, which is well worth getting.
