Wheel building/truing stand

an old and useless fork could easily be converted into a wheel building stand...

My reasons for buying a Wheel Truing stand by Hugo7...

1. I finally have the money and want to;
   
2. ...oh actually I don't need any others!
   
   

...anyway... does anyone have any experience of wheel truing stands?

Does a stand that only trues from one side as it were (ie Park, Ultimate) work as well?

Any other pointers / things to look out for?
