it's pretty insane to not have a crossbar when balls are being shot at goal height. there are many precedents.
i don't feel riding through the goal is enough of a reason not to have them. as long as the crossbars do not injure players that do ride through the goal, then i would vote for them.
i'm sure it wont happen anytime soon, and even when it does probably only for tournaments or league games maybe, but it makes a lot of sense to use them.
