Thanks all, I know its a cliche but that was my first forum ride and really enjoyed it, really good to meet faces and people I have seen here. Just sorry I had to cut it short (left just after Hyde Park). Object, thanks very much for organising it. Thanks to Digger for taking the Fort by the horns and getting the ride going. Thanks also to VeeVee and Jaygee for the biscuits and cakes, good work.
Have a great rest of the day everyone.Seconded.. Great ride. Home now with a big grin. The ride down to Buck Palace was just very special. I'll be uploading photos this afternoon and will post them.
Have a great day one and all. -

Had a wonderful time this morning. Nice to meet new faces.
Here is our route this morning. Watch us go 3 times around Regents Park :)And if you look carefully the multiple loops we did of the Gherkin :D
Great ride, good to get on the roads when they were relatively car free. My toes are just about thawed now :)

What a dissapointment! I'm sure the ride was great - unfortunately I didn't have the heart to tell my youngest son that he couldn't come with me, so we started with the bunch at Oxford Circus and by the time we got to Waterloo bridge we'd dropped off the back and lost you all! We rode up to Tower bridge then back to Westminster with Rachel (who had a very dissapointing 1st forum ride) then went home.
LFGSS forum group riding fail shocker

I woke up very early after an uneasy night's sleep (5:45) so just got up and jumped on the bike. Had great fun razzing through the streets with zero traffic before meeting up with the waifs and strays - peeled off after St. Paul's, good to meet up with you lot!
A few of the early pics here - none of the later ones were in focus!

Hello and thanks everyone.
It's my first day on the forum and my first ride with you in the morning.
You folks are much more friendly and welcoming than one could expect just reading the post on here :)
Particulary thanks to you who were offering cakes in the morning. Sweet! -

DJ the problem are the cars. I wanted to ride on empty roads. apart from that Christmas was unnoticed at my flat. I didn't even ate special food and drunk less that everyday.

If it weren't for the chance to do these two things I wouldn't come home to see my parents for christmas.
Screw the Christians, I celebrated Dies Natalis Solis Invicti, Saturnalia and Yule..
