It's worth passing by the Serpentine at 9 to watch the nutters going for a swim.

I'm not in London anymore, down in Norfolk. Thought about running past Sandringham and seeing if Her Madge will make me a cuppa.

No, she'll be on BBC1 bollocking on about some shite that no-one cares about, and/or pretending to be concerned about the problems faced by real people in the real world. But you could certainly nick a corgi as a souvenir... just the right size for a sandwich IMO.

Already arranged for people in London ;) The rest of us have to sort ourselves out.
I'll be in Bath, definately want to go out for a ride, will wait and see what the weather is doing before I decide whether to go on or off road. I quite like the idea of a little off road, get covered in mud, back home for a shower and a big ol' dinner.

Beat me to linking to that thread.I've ridden on Christmas day every year since I was 16 and will always organise a waifs and strays ride for whichever town/city I happen to be in.

Forgot to say: If anyone else is in Bath and wants to go for a spin, let me know. I'll be geared on or off road, fixieskiddie will be left in my flat :( -

I'm off on an early morning loop to the coast to knacker myself out. London/AshdownForest/Seaford/along Beachy Head road/Eastbourne/pop in to see a great aunt for a cup of tea/back to town.
Would come and join the waifs and stray again, but I'd like to put a few miles in. Nice morning out last year - cheers Object - weather looking ok, have a good one.

For those looking for a place to get a wam drink on Christmas Day, the Dukes Head down by Putney Bridge does a good coffee or tea and bike security is pretty good, particularly if you turn up at the same time as the 100+ riders from the Southwark Cyclists Christmas Day Ride. I've had some great Christmases on that ride.
I'm off to meander around the Cotswold flats looking for an open pub and a decent ale between lunch and dinner. Progress will depend on whether the ice has cleared. One of the few times when country roads can be busier than city streets.

I'm out on the east Norfolk coast, 130 miles away from my fiXy skiDer, just unwrapped my present from my girlfriend - the Fixed book. Just flicking through the photos makes me want to go back tomorrow. I feel lethargic not cycling for a week.

I live in Norwich - headed towards the coast, but ending up winding through towns and villages in a loop before heading home. This is Wroxham, where I was tempted to grab that swan for dinner...
Probably about 35 miles, now waiting for dinner. Only wore one pair of socks - big mistake. Practically screamed out loud when I got in the shower. Nice ride though, and I can now eat as many mince pies as I want.

I'd love to ride some roads like that, in that lovely weather, that is some smug mugshot as well...

Are there any corners?
-

Australians don't do corners. We leave being bent to the lesser nations.

is that before or after the 4x4 full of pissed up, be-mulleted fuckwits tried to run you off the road?
So, depending on what the weather does, I'll be heading out for a spin of some sort on Christmas Day. Out to the coast if the roads are safe, somewhere off road if they ain't.
Anyone else going to be lifting the tin of Quality Street off their lap, dragging on some thermals and heading out for a Christmas Day ride?
