Google is your friend -

Thanks!
Google must hate me... -
• #255
Google likes you but Bing and askjeeves both think you're a bit of a weapon.
-
• #256
i meant the crown is a few inches taller than normal crowns.
so it will change the handling like fitting a set of longtravel forks. -
• #257
And although Google hates you, you could give it one more try and find the numbers for changes to head tube angle per cm of AC increase.
Your bike will most probably end up looking like a chopper :-)

The new brooklyn launchpad, damn i want one!
-
• #259
The launchpad is taiwanese (not hatin' taiwan, just saying its not a Brooklyn Brooklyn) and those forks... Dunno man, the gansta forks are just that bit nicer.
-
• #260
Having said that, it looks a right laugh to trundle about on.
Schmidt dyno hub and a sturmey and you're good.
-
• #261
According to ^ that ^ website the Launchpad is made in Brooklyn, and costs $1200.

Its a trick bike, hence change of forks etc etc
-
• #263
Well fuck me running, I was miss-informed. Word around the campfire was that they were doing a frame straight outta' taipei - clearly not this.
@vv - sure its a trick bike but still... prefer the gangsta forks.
BMX forks are fugly. -

It's also been around since last year.
Ye i noticed that, although for some reason its not acctually yet on the brooklyn machine works website?! they only have the gangsta and there other mountain bikes.
Aparently tokyo fixed have them in stock so i may go check one out. Also the gangsta had toe overlap, will the launchpad have reduced overlap or none at all due to the new forks?

is there any truth to a 'made in taiwain' bmw frameset or was it just a rumour?
-
• #268
The Gangsta is being made in Taiwan this year and will be cheaper due to not having to pay US labour and location costs. (which is nice)
-
• #269
cool. i'll wait and see how much they go for if they reach our shores then
