I'd like to say the chain snapped because it just couldn't take the sheer output from my elite, powerful acceleration, but in hindsight, i've had numerous attacks on my bike lock recently - and i'm wondering if there's been a hint of sabotage there.... although it was fine all the way to Wolverhampton. Thankfully - i wasn't far from Fred Williams Cycles, who hooked me up with a replacement.
